Yep, I got it!
I’m a single mom of two high school girls active in year-round sports, one dog and caregiver to my 86 year old mother with dementia! I need my energy and I got it from the 10-day juice cleanse I was on last week. On day 4 (Sunday) I was up at 6 am working and after lunch I took my girls to Pacific City school shopping. On the go all day. When I got home I was thinking of taking a nap (old habit). It was time to take my Amino Acid 23’s (part of the cleanse) so I did and then laid down. After a few minutes I realized I wasn’t tired at all and got up and went on with my day. Throughout the cleanse you are taking or drinking something every 2 hours. For years I’ve heard to eat smaller meals (5) throughout the day rather than 2 or 3 larger ones. I do believe it helps keep our energy well balanced and less likely to over indulge. On day 7 I called my sister and said I don’t know what to do with my time I have so much energy!
This was my first juice cleanse. I always felt nourished and had plenty of energy. I did my normal routine including working out 6 of the 10 days at the gym. They do recommend a lighter workout rather than super intense as our body is detoxing so I took it easy, just ask Trisha, Sarah and Lindi at The 12.
Everyone should detox at least once per year. Everyone! This company has been going strong for 25 years and my plan is to do this organic pure cleanse 4 times per year. I’m so happy to have this alternative to my water fasts! Something people have done in other cultures for centuries. If you are thinking of doing a cleanse now is the time. It is much easier when it is warmer out than in the middle of snowy winter when all you want is hot comfort food.
